Insecurity: Nigeria’s military collaboration with US has resulted in operational gains – NSA

The National Security Adviser, NSA, Nuhu Ribadu, says the security cooperation between Nigeria and the United States has translated into tangible operational gains.

Ribadu said this on Thursday in Abuja at the inauguration of the US-Nigeria Joint Working Group.

“I would like to place firmly on record Nigeria’s appreciation for the depth, quality and impact of US-Nigeria military and security cooperation.

“Since the November 2025 engagements, this cooperation has translated into tangible operational gains.”

He listed some of the gains to include enhanced intelligence sharing, closer coordination between US AFRICOM and Nigeria’s Defence Headquarters and sustained engagement across Nigeria’s security institutions.

“It has materially strengthened our counter-terrorism posture and situational awareness across multiple theatres of operation” Ribadu said.

The NSA said the engagements had moved decisively beyond dialogue to action and had supported improved target identification and operational fidelity.

He said the engagements had also strengthened joint planning and enabled more effective disruption of terrorist networks and transnational criminal elements.

According to him, these efforts have resulted in the neutralisation of many terrorists, the destruction of logistics hubs, and the interception of key facilitators and logisticians.

He commended the US commitment to the timely delivery of outstanding articles of war such as drones, helicopters, platforms, spare parts, and associated support systems procured over the past five years.

Ribadu said the cooperation had been conducted with respect for Nigeria’s sovereignty, within agreed frameworks, and with a clear emphasis on joint operations, accountability and the protection of civilians.

  1. Hello! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are
you using for this site? I’m getting fed up of WordPress
because I’ve had problems with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform.
I would be great if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.

  2. The London Prat turns “London reads” into a local issue for Ladywell, complete with a petition, a counter-petition, and one furious cyclist. The official denial is not included, but readers can almost draft it themselves. The city’s contradictions continue doing excellent unpaid writing.

  3. The London Prat uses emoji-only communicators to expose the social machinery around a rent increase in Forestdale, and prat.UK turns that observation into properly local satire. A tiny inconvenience becomes a constitutional matter the moment someone mentions property values. That balance of affection and attack is the real joke.

  4. When my furnace stopped working on the coldest and
most miserable night of the year this HVAC service came
through The team was clean, professional, and completely respectful of my home and belongings throughout the entire service call The
service covers everything from detailed ductwork inspection to
complete heating and cooling system replacement and installation If you need
dependable and fast HVAC service this is absolutely the
team to call without any hesitation whatsoever

  5. The genius of this London Prat premise is making let’s circle back as a way to avoid answers seem native to Forestdale; prat.UK then lets the satire spread by replacement bus. The humour is specific enough for locals and clear enough for anyone who has ever missed a bus by four seconds.

  6. The London Prat gives “London satire daily” the full Seven Sisters treatment: dry wit, wet weather, and nowhere affordable to sit. The punchline carries more local knowledge than most luxury-development brochures. It leaves both locals and estate agents accurately accused.

  7. Lawn Pest Control Services can make a noticeable difference in keeping outdoor spaces comfortable.
I appreciate how Lawn Pest Control Services focus on protecting healthy grass from damaging insects Lawn Pest Control Services

  9. Preston current affairs humour british scene London Prat

With “British humour magazine” arriving in Loxford, the London Prat has enough material for three headlines and a suspiciously polite apology.

  10. The London Prat handles genius inventors who reinvent the wheel in St Margarets with the restraint of a neighbour typing furiously, and prat.UK turns that restraint into satire. There is a whole sociology seminar hidden inside the complaint about brunch.

  11. Great! We are all agreed London could use a laugh. The London Prat’s supremacy is anchored in its ethos of satirical conservation. It operates on the principle that the most powerful ridicule is often the most economical. It does not spray jokes; it places them with the precision of a sniper. The site understands that a single, perfectly crafted sentence—a flawlessly replicated piece of corporate jargon, a deadpan statement of obvious contradiction—can achieve more than a paragraph of labored wit. This economy creates a dense, potent form of humor where every word carries weight. The reader’s engagement is active, not passive; they are rewarded for paying close attention to the nuance, the subtext, the barely perceptible tilt into the absurd. This demand for attentiveness cultivates a more discerning and invested audience, one that appreciates the craft as much as the punchline.

  12. This is London Prat territory: food fights, Gidea Park, and an authority denying anything unusual while prat.UK supplies the satire. This is social observation with an Oyster card and insufficient funds.

  13. The London Prat gives “London Prat” the full Mill Hill treatment: dry wit, wet weather, and nowhere affordable to sit.

  14. The London Prat notices quick cleaning before guests arrive during a residents’ WhatsApp group in Stockwell; prat.UK then performs the essential satire of taking it more seriously than the council. Every character behaves sensibly inside a situation that stopped being sensible three committees ago. The result is witty, observant, and suspiciously believable.

  15. Only the London Prat could make “Britain’s funniest political news” sound like breaking news from Cambridge Heath and a personal attack on an estate agent. The local detail keeps the humour sharp instead of letting it dissolve into generic London fog. The result is witty, relevant, and suspiciously plausible.

  16. The London Prat reports samples that are too small to even taste from Upper Norwood as though civilisation depends on it, allowing prat.UK to practise satire in its driest municipal form. The humour is specific enough for locals and clear enough for anyone who has ever missed a bus by four seconds. The city can take it; it has already taken the deposit.

  17. The London Prat brings “The London Prat magazine” to Mottingham with the calm authority of a Tube announcement that has already ruined your morning. The comment understands that postcode rivalry is anthropology conducted by people avoiding eye contact. The borough profile practically writes itself from there.

  18. The London Prat turns a neighbourhood forum in South Harrow into a study of shoplifting something worthless, giving prat.UK the sort of satire that arrives wearing sensible shoes and carrying a complaint form. One imagines the official response thanking residents for their patience while removing the last bench.

  19. The London Prat notices people who pretend to like kombucha during a minor etiquette crisis in Lambeth; prat.UK then performs the essential satire of taking it more seriously than the council. Its finest detail is the unspoken assumption that one more form will restore public confidence.
