Enrol your children in schools or go to jail – Senate bill
The Senate has passed for first reading a bill that recommends a fine of N50,000 to parents who default in providing their children with primary and secondary school education.
The Red Chamber also recommended free meals for every child in the country.
The bill proposed by Senator Orji Kalu titled, ‘Compulsory free Universal Basic Education Act 2004, Section 2’ states that every government in Nigeria shall provide free, compulsory and universal basic education for every child of primary and junior secondary school age.”
The act further states that “Every parent shall ensure that his child or ward attends and completes his primary school education and junior secondary school education by endeavouring to send the child to primary and junior secondary schools.”
“The Act further states that stakeholders in education in a local government area shall ensure that every parent or person who has the care and custody of a child performs the duty imposed on him under section 2(2) of this Act.”

The act further noted that a parent who contravenes the earlier prescription should be liable, on the first conviction, to be reprimanded.
“On a second conviction, a fine of N2,000 or imprisonment for a term of one month or both; and on subsequent conviction, to a fine of N5,000 or imprisonment for a term of two months or to both.”
The Senate, however, in its amendment, proposed N50,000 fines, instead of the N5,000 previously stated in the Act.
It stated, “A person who receives or obtains any fee contrary to the provisions of subsection (1) of this section commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding N10,000 or imprisonment for a term of three months or to both.
“Every parent shall ensure that his child receives full-time education suitable to his age, ability and aptitude by regular attendance at schools.”
However, the Senate proposes, N100,000 in replacement of the N10,000.
The Senate proposed, “Section 3(2) of the Principal Act is amended by deleting N10,000 and inserting N100,000.”
Responding to this development, the Programme Coordinator for Basic Education at Reform Education, Nigeria, Ayodamola Oluwatoyin, in an interview with reporters, noted that while the move by the lawmakers seems commendable, there should be an investigation into the additional charges by the public schools across the country.

Lottoland vetaa sisaan peleja isoilta pelintekijoilta esim. Play’n GO ja Evolution, joten tutut nimikkeet on paikalla. Ma pelasin Gates of Olympusta paaasiassa ja voittoki tuli pari kertaa. Slotteja on varmaan satoja plus poytapeleja tietenkin. Tosin yks juttu — filtterit vois olla parempi, loytaa kylla mut vaatii klikkailua.
Live casinosta loytyy ihan kunnon oikeita jakajia ja pelattiin Crazy Timea viikonloppuna. Toimii ilman patkimista mobiilissa, mika on iso plussa. Bonuksista puhuttaessa — mulle tuli matchbonuksen plus freespinneja. Kierratysvaatimus oli about 35-kertainen ja se on ok taso. Lue pienella painettu aina etukateen.
Kotiutukset Lottolandista meni mulle suht nopeesti. E-lompakolla kesti pari tuntia ja pankkisiirto kesti vahan pidempaan. Ei mitaan kauheen erikoista mut ok. Loydat nykyiset tarjoukset suoraan lottoland jos kiinnostaa. Support hoituu chatilla ja oon saanu ihan nopeesti bonusasiassa.
Puhelimella onnistuu suoraan selaimessa eika tarvi ladata mitaan. Mut joo aion jatkaa Lottolandissa kunnes joku parempi tulee vastaan.

Just wanted to drop a quick note saying this was a useful read on a topic I have been circling, no fluff, and a stop at lanternstoneemporium added a few extra points that fit the same simple style which makes the whole site feel coherent rather than thrown together by many different writers with different goals.

Been using Rolletto for roughly three months now and wanted to share my thoughts. Found it through a mate since I was tired of my usual spots. Signed up took about two minutes, nothing weird asked, and I deposited ?20 to start — min deposit is ?20 not unreasonable.
First deposit bonus looked alright — they matched a hundred percent up to €500 with a couple hundred free spins. Playthrough is at 35 times which could be worse honestly compared to some places. Spins landed on Gates of Olympus if I remember right. I’ll be honest, I didn’t win much from the spins but that bonus cash kept me going.
Games on Rolletto is genuinely massive. They’ve got titles by Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, plus Evolution on the live side. I mostly stick to Book of Dead and Big Time Gaming stuff like White Rabbit. Must be 3000-odd games across the whole site. Live casino’s solid too — the usual tables, and I keep going back to Crazy Time and it’s way too addictive. Real croupiers streaming, picture quality is really clean.
Cashing out is what I really wanted to test and so far can’t moan. I’ve used Neteller and it took about 24 hours. They also do Mastercard plus a bunch of e-wallets for flexibility. I’d have a look at their bonus page over at rolletto casino if you’re curious. The thing that bugs me — they took ages to process and felt slow.
Mobile-wise, Rolletto loads nicely in Chrome — there’s no dedicated app and honestly the browser version is fine. Pages load quick enough and had a few goes on the bus and it ran smooth. Customer service is available round the clock via chat and I got an answer in like thirty seconds when I asked about my withdrawal. They’re Curacao licensed — worth noting it’s not UK-regulated and that’s a thing to be aware of.
Honestly, there are niggles — KYC speed plus the layout feels slightly cleaner. But the games are class, I’ve had no payout dramas, and that welcome offer gave me good value. Might not suit everyone but I’ll be sticking with Rolletto for a while yet.

So I’ve been messing around on Rolletto for roughly three months now and wanted to share how it’s been going. Stumbled on it through a mate after I got fed up with where I normally play. Signed up took maybe a couple of minutes, nothing weird asked, and I dropped ?20 as a first deposit — twenty’s the lowest you can go which is fair enough.
Their sign-up offer caught my eye — I got a match of a hundred percent up to €500 plus a couple hundred free spins. The rollover sits at x35 and that is about average I’ve seen. They gave the spins for Gates of Olympus from what I recall. Tbh, the spins didn’t pay great but the deposit match gave me a solid session.
The lobby on Rolletto is genuinely bigger than I expected. They’ve got titles by Pragmatic Play, Betsoft, Evolution for live. I mostly stick to Sweet Bonanza plus a few Megaways games from Extra Chilli. Looks like there’s 3000-odd games in total. The live section is decent — the usual tables, plus I’ve wasted hours on Crazy Time which is way too addictive. Real croupiers streaming, quality’s crisp even on mobile.
Getting money out has been what I really wanted to test and actually it’s been fine. I withdraw to Skrill mostly and the money came through in roughly a day. You can also use Bitcoin and various e-wallets which is handy. I’d have a look at the current promotions on Rolletto before you sign up. My one annoyance — they took like four days to process and dragged on a bit.
On my phone, Rolletto runs fine in Chrome — there’s no dedicated app but the mobile site is smooth. It’s responsive and I’ve played on my commute without issues. Support is live chat 24/7 and response time was under a minute the two times I needed them. It’s operating under a Curacao licence — no UK licence so that’s a thing to be aware of.
Honestly, there are niggles — that slow verification and the layout feels slightly cluttered in places. But the games are class, payouts have been reliable for me, and the bonus gave me a decent run. Your mileage may vary but I’ll keep playing at Rolletto for now.
I’ve been playing at Rolletto for roughly three months now and figured I’d share how it’s been going. Came across it after googling around for somewhere new because I was getting bored of the same old sites. Signed up was like a couple of minutes, pretty standard stuff, and I dropped ?20 as a first deposit — that’s the minimum which is fair enough.
The welcome bonus caught my eye — it was 100% up to €500 plus 200 spins thrown in. Playthrough is at 35x which could be worse honestly compared to some places. They gave the spins for Sweet Bonanza from what I recall. I’ll be honest, spins were a bit dead but the deposit match stretched things out nicely.
Games on Rolletto is honestly massive. You’ll find stuff from Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Evolution for live. I’ve been hammering Book of Dead and a few Megaways games from Bonanza. Looks like there’s over 3000 games when you count everything. The live section is decent — blackjack and roulette, and I got sucked into Crazy Time which is way too addictive. All Evolution-run, stream is sharp on my laptop.
Cashing out is where I was sceptical at first and so far no complaints. I’ve used Neteller and it took about 24 hours. There’s also Bitcoin and a bunch of e-wallets if that’s your thing. I’d check out their bonus page on Rolletto before you sign up. My one annoyance — verification took ages to approve and that felt slow.
Using it on mobile, Rolletto loads nicely in Chrome — no app needed and honestly the browser version is fine. Everything loads quick enough and I’ve played on the bus without issues. Support is available round the clock via chat and they replied in under a minute when I had a bonus question. The site is operating under a Curacao licence — no UK licence so make of that what you will.
Overall, there are niggles — KYC speed plus navigation could be cluttered in places. But the games are class, I’ve had no payout dramas, and that welcome offer gave me plenty of play time. Your mileage may vary but I’ll keep playing at Rolletto for a while yet.
