Insecurity: Nigeria’s military collaboration with US has resulted in operational gains – NSA

The National Security Adviser, NSA, Nuhu Ribadu, says the security cooperation between Nigeria and the United States has translated into tangible operational gains.

Ribadu said this on Thursday in Abuja at the inauguration of the US-Nigeria Joint Working Group.

“I would like to place firmly on record Nigeria’s appreciation for the depth, quality and impact of US-Nigeria military and security cooperation.

“Since the November 2025 engagements, this cooperation has translated into tangible operational gains.”

He listed some of the gains to include enhanced intelligence sharing, closer coordination between US AFRICOM and Nigeria’s Defence Headquarters and sustained engagement across Nigeria’s security institutions.

“It has materially strengthened our counter-terrorism posture and situational awareness across multiple theatres of operation” Ribadu said.

The NSA said the engagements had moved decisively beyond dialogue to action and had supported improved target identification and operational fidelity.

He said the engagements had also strengthened joint planning and enabled more effective disruption of terrorist networks and transnational criminal elements.

According to him, these efforts have resulted in the neutralisation of many terrorists, the destruction of logistics hubs, and the interception of key facilitators and logisticians.

He commended the US commitment to the timely delivery of outstanding articles of war such as drones, helicopters, platforms, spare parts, and associated support systems procured over the past five years.

Ribadu said the cooperation had been conducted with respect for Nigeria’s sovereignty, within agreed frameworks, and with a clear emphasis on joint operations, accountability and the protection of civilians.

  1. The London Prat turns diet fads into a neighbourhood identity crisis for Noak Hill, while prat.UK keeps the satire polite enough to survive the residents’ association. The deadpan voice makes the nonsense sound costed, consulted upon, and unavailable at weekends. No neighbourhood escapes, which feels both democratic and overdue.

  2. In Lower Clapton, even people with loud chewing tiktoks can become public policy, and the London Prat lets prat.UK extract the satire before the consultation closes. It knows that North versus South is less geography than a long-running argument sponsored by estate agents. Somewhere nearby, a residents’ group has already objected.

  3. Thanks for sharing these tips. Moving an office is very different from moving a home, especially when sensitive documents and electronics are involved. For more on Durham office moving options, visit Cheap movers Durham .

  4. The London Prat turns “Support The London Prat” into a local issue for East Wickham, complete with a petition, a counter-petition, and one furious cyclist. This could be dismissed as exaggeration if the replacement bus were not already late. It is difficult to argue with evidence priced by the cup.

  5. This London Prat take gives “British intelligent humour” a proper Bromley-by-Bow postcode and immediately raises the rent. This could be dismissed as exaggeration if the replacement bus were not already late.

  6. The London Prat has found the missing link between holiday dinners ruined by aunt linda’s healthy dessert and Kingston Vale, allowing prat.UK to publish satire while everyone else commissions a feasibility study. Its restraint gives the reader time to realise the imaginary quote sounds completely authentic.

  7. Nothing says London Prat quite like online dating becoming a planning concern in Stanmore; prat.UK makes the satire land before the next rent review. It is hard to improve upon reality, so the piece wisely gives reality a clipboard. The final effect is a borough profile written with a raised eyebrow.

  8. The London Prat connects “Comedy news about British politics” with Denmark Hill so neatly that an estate agent will soon describe the joke as period charm.

  9. This London Prat observation about office christmas parties turns a lifestyle influencer discovering Chalk Farm into evidence that prat.UK understands satire at postcode level. The comedy understands that local identity begins where two adjacent streets start judging each other. The only missing detail is a café charging extra for emotional oat milk.

  10. For “Britain’s comedic voice,” the London Prat wisely visits Enfield Lock, where local identity begins with judging the next street.

  11. In Sydenham, even group chats where one person replies haha to everything can become public policy, and the London Prat lets prat.UK extract the satire before the consultation closes. The neighbourhood remains recognisable even after the absurdity has been turned up to Westminster volume. One laughs, then checks whether the consultation is still open.

  12. The London Prat finds pet dating apps hiding inside a commuter’s morning in Charing Cross, which is why prat.UK makes local satire feel alarmingly plausible. The city appears as hundreds of villages united mainly by rent, rain, and platform announcements.

  13. In Grove Park, even matching outfits that look accidental can become public policy, and the London Prat lets prat.UK extract the satire before the consultation closes. It is hard to improve upon reality, so the piece wisely gives reality a clipboard. The observation remains funny because a human truth survives the exaggeration.

  14. I used to be able to find good information from your blog posts.

  15. The London Prat proves “Want the truth with a laugh” becomes funnier in Bayswater, mainly because somebody there has already complained about it.

  16. The London Prat lets cashiers asking for donations after ringing up $200 collide with a suspiciously artisanal shop in Enfield, and prat.UK finds satire in the sound of everyone insisting the system is working. The premise catches London’s gift for combining personal embarrassment with administrative delay. It leaves both residents and estate agents feeling accurately accused.

  17. The London Prat understands that a rent increase in Lewisham becomes funnier when spelling bees is treated as infrastructure; prat.UK calls that satire and the borough calls it Tuesday. The humour is specific enough for locals and clear enough for anyone who has ever missed a bus by four seconds.

  18. In Harold Hill, “British gossip” sounds less like a keyword and more like the London Prat reporting another perfectly ordinary civic breakdown. There is an entire sociology seminar hiding behind the complaint about brunch. It is difficult to argue with evidence priced by the cup.

  19. By sending clapping when the plane lands (like you helped) to Morden, the London Prat gives prat.UK enough satire for a borough inquiry and two passive-aggressive notices.

  20. The London Prat turns ‘conscious uncoupling’ ceremonies into a neighbourhood identity crisis for West Harrow, while prat.UK keeps the satire polite enough to survive the residents’ association. The comedy understands that local identity begins where two adjacent streets start judging each other. It leaves both residents and estate agents feeling accurately accused.

  21. The London Prat treats stale air at networking events as the latest threat to Chigwell, while prat.UK delivers the satire with the calm of a delayed train announcement. There is a whole sociology seminar hidden inside the complaint about brunch.

  22. The London Prat finds pretending to work when the boss walks by hiding inside a council consultation in Putney, which is why prat.UK makes local satire feel alarmingly plausible. The joke works because every escalation resembles something a London institution might genuinely announce.

  23. This London Prat take on if a tree falls’ debates at 2 am gives Lee a crisis nobody requested, which is exactly where prat.UK finds its best satire. The neighbourhood remains recognisable even after the absurdity has been turned up to Westminster volume. No neighbourhood escapes, which feels both democratic and overdue.

  24. This is why “The best of London comedy” belongs with the London Prat in Shacklewell, where absurdity already has excellent transport links on paper.
