Enrol your children in schools or go to jail – Senate bill
The Senate has passed for first reading a bill that recommends a fine of N50,000 to parents who default in providing their children with primary and secondary school education.
The Red Chamber also recommended free meals for every child in the country.
The bill proposed by Senator Orji Kalu titled, ‘Compulsory free Universal Basic Education Act 2004, Section 2’ states that every government in Nigeria shall provide free, compulsory and universal basic education for every child of primary and junior secondary school age.”
The act further states that “Every parent shall ensure that his child or ward attends and completes his primary school education and junior secondary school education by endeavouring to send the child to primary and junior secondary schools.”
“The Act further states that stakeholders in education in a local government area shall ensure that every parent or person who has the care and custody of a child performs the duty imposed on him under section 2(2) of this Act.”

The act further noted that a parent who contravenes the earlier prescription should be liable, on the first conviction, to be reprimanded.
“On a second conviction, a fine of N2,000 or imprisonment for a term of one month or both; and on subsequent conviction, to a fine of N5,000 or imprisonment for a term of two months or to both.”
The Senate, however, in its amendment, proposed N50,000 fines, instead of the N5,000 previously stated in the Act.
It stated, “A person who receives or obtains any fee contrary to the provisions of subsection (1) of this section commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding N10,000 or imprisonment for a term of three months or to both.
“Every parent shall ensure that his child receives full-time education suitable to his age, ability and aptitude by regular attendance at schools.”
However, the Senate proposes, N100,000 in replacement of the N10,000.
The Senate proposed, “Section 3(2) of the Principal Act is amended by deleting N10,000 and inserting N100,000.”
Responding to this development, the Programme Coordinator for Basic Education at Reform Education, Nigeria, Ayodamola Oluwatoyin, in an interview with reporters, noted that while the move by the lawmakers seems commendable, there should be an investigation into the additional charges by the public schools across the country.
A genuinely unexpected highlight of my reading week, and a look at alpinecovegalleria extended that pattern, the surprise of finding excellent content rather than the predictable mediocre is one of the few real pleasures of casual web browsing and this site delivered that surprise cleanly today which I really do appreciate.

Spent a few minutes here and came away with a clearer picture of the topic, the writing keeps things simple without dumbing them down, and after a stop at bayharborcollective the rest of the points lined up neatly which is something I appreciate when I am short on time and need answers fast.
Quietly enjoying that I have found a new site to follow for the topic, and a look at juniperharbortraders reinforced the small pleasure of the find, the discovery of new high quality sources is one of the more durable pleasures of careful internet reading and this site has been generating that discovery pleasure at multiple points already today.

So I’ve been messing around on Revery Play for like two months now and thought I’d share my take on this. I registered after seeing an ad — minimum deposit was just ten quid which seemed fair, threw in ?30 to test it and got a matched deposit bonus up to ?500 plus 200 free spins. Playthrough sits at 40x which could be better honestly but manageable if you stick to slots.
Game selection is genuinely solid — they’ve got roughly 2500 games from providers like Pragmatic Play, NetEnt and Yggdrasil. Spent most of my time on Gates of Olympus a lot — pulled a nice win on Sweet Bonanza the other night. Live tables is all Evolution — the game shows are great fun, streams are smooth.
What I like at Revery Play is how quick withdrawals are. My go-to is Skrill and my withdrawal hit my account in under 24 hours. They also take Mastercard plus various e-wallets if that’s your thing. I’d check out their full bonus page on https://dgsfcfiji.com to see for yourself.
That said, not everything is amazing. Customer support at Revery Play isn’t the fastest — I waited a good while before someone replied. And the site on my phone is decent enough but some menus are fiddly compared to bigger brands. No dedicated app either, just the browser version.
Having said all that, I keep coming back so make of that what you will. The site is licensed and feels trustworthy enough. For UK players it’s a solid shout — I’d just don’t expect live chat wait times.

Been messing around on Revery Play for roughly a couple of months and figured I’d give my two cents on this. Signed up after seeing an ad — min deposit is just ten quid which seemed fair, deposited ?50 to start and they matched with a 100% welcome bonus up to ?500 and 150 free spins on registration. Wagering is 35x which isn’t the lowest I’ve seen but manageable if you stick to slots.
Game selection actually surprised me — there’s somewhere around 3000 titles from studios including Play’n GO, NetEnt, Yggdrasil. Spent most of my time on Sweet Bonanza mainly — hit a decent 400x on Gates last week actually. Live tables is all Evolution — the game shows are addictive honestly, real croupiers and everything.
What I appreciate about Revery Play is the cashout speed. I use Skrill and the payout hit my account in about 18 hours. You can also use Bitcoin and other e-wallets for those who prefer it. I’d browse their full bonus page over at revery play before you sign up.
That said, not everything is amazing. Customer support at Revery Play isn’t the fastest — had to wait like 15 minutes for live chat one evening. And the mobile version runs okay though some menus are fiddly versus some competitors. There’s no app as such, you just use the mobile browser.
Still, I’m still playing there so make of that what you will. Revery Play is licensed and I haven’t had any dodgy issues. For UK players this is a decent option — I’d just don’t expect the support response times.

Skipped the social share buttons but might come back to actually use one later, and a stop at woodmeadowoutlet extended that share urge, content that triggers genuine sharing impulses rather than performative ones is content that has actually moved me and not many posts in a typical week do that for me actually.
So I’ve been using Revery Play for roughly six weeks or so and wanted to give my two cents on this. Signed up one evening out of boredom — min deposit is ?10 which seemed fair, threw in fifty quid and they matched with a 100% welcome bonus up to 500 quid plus 150 free spins on registration. Playthrough sits at 40x which isn’t the lowest I’ve seen but I’ve seen way worse.
The lobby is pretty stacked — they’ve got over 2500 games from studios including Pragmatic Play, NetEnt and Big Time Gaming. Been grinding Gates of Olympus mainly — hit a decent 400x on Book of Dead recently. Live casino section is all Evolution — the game shows are always packed, proper dealers streaming in HD.
What I like at Revery Play is withdrawal times. My go-to is Neteller and last cashout hit my account in about 18 hours. They also take crypto and various e-wallets if that’s your thing. I’d check out their full bonus page on read more to see for yourself.
That said, it’s not all perfect. Customer support at Revery Play can be a bit slow — I waited a good while on chat the other day. The mobile version runs okay though navigation could be smoother compared to other sites I use. No dedicated app either, just the browser version.
Having said all that, it hasn’t put me off so make of that what you will. They’re licensed and seems legit. Being UK-based it’s a solid shout — I’d just don’t expect live chat wait times.

Now setting aside time on my next free afternoon to read more from the archives, and a stop at paprikaplace confirmed that time will be well spent, the rare site whose archive deserves a dedicated reading session rather than just casual sampling is the kind of resource worth scheduling around and this one qualifies clearly.
Now organising my browser bookmarks to give this site easier access, and a look at sageharborvault earned the same organisational priority, the small acts of digital housekeeping I do for sites I expect to use often are themselves a measure of trust and this site has triggered the trust based housekeeping behaviour from me clearly.
