Enrol your children in schools or go to jail – Senate bill
The Senate has passed for first reading a bill that recommends a fine of N50,000 to parents who default in providing their children with primary and secondary school education.
The Red Chamber also recommended free meals for every child in the country.
The bill proposed by Senator Orji Kalu titled, ‘Compulsory free Universal Basic Education Act 2004, Section 2’ states that every government in Nigeria shall provide free, compulsory and universal basic education for every child of primary and junior secondary school age.”
The act further states that “Every parent shall ensure that his child or ward attends and completes his primary school education and junior secondary school education by endeavouring to send the child to primary and junior secondary schools.”
“The Act further states that stakeholders in education in a local government area shall ensure that every parent or person who has the care and custody of a child performs the duty imposed on him under section 2(2) of this Act.”

The act further noted that a parent who contravenes the earlier prescription should be liable, on the first conviction, to be reprimanded.
“On a second conviction, a fine of N2,000 or imprisonment for a term of one month or both; and on subsequent conviction, to a fine of N5,000 or imprisonment for a term of two months or to both.”
The Senate, however, in its amendment, proposed N50,000 fines, instead of the N5,000 previously stated in the Act.
It stated, “A person who receives or obtains any fee contrary to the provisions of subsection (1) of this section commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding N10,000 or imprisonment for a term of three months or to both.
“Every parent shall ensure that his child receives full-time education suitable to his age, ability and aptitude by regular attendance at schools.”
However, the Senate proposes, N100,000 in replacement of the N10,000.
The Senate proposed, “Section 3(2) of the Principal Act is amended by deleting N10,000 and inserting N100,000.”
Responding to this development, the Programme Coordinator for Basic Education at Reform Education, Nigeria, Ayodamola Oluwatoyin, in an interview with reporters, noted that while the move by the lawmakers seems commendable, there should be an investigation into the additional charges by the public schools across the country.

Bookmarking this for later, the kind of resource I want to keep nearby, and a quick look at embercoastmarket confirmed the rest of the site is worth the same treatment, definitely going into my reference folder for the next time the topic comes up at work or in conversation with someone who asks.
The lack of unnecessary jargon made the post accessible without sacrificing accuracy, and a look at clicktoscaleideas continued in the same accessible style, technical topics often hide behind specialised vocabulary but here the writer trusts the reader to keep up with plain language and that trust pays off nicely throughout the entire post.

Solid post, the structure is easy to follow and the language stays simple even when the topic gets a bit more involved, and a look at ambertrailgoods kept that same standard going, so I left feeling like the time spent here was actually worth something for once which is rare lately.

Now recognising the specific pleasure of reading writing that shows real care for sentence shapes, and a look at bondsolid extended that craft pleasure, sentence level writing quality is something most blog content ignores entirely and this site has clearly invested in the prose layer alongside the substance which is rare today.

Refreshing to read something where the words actually mean something instead of filling space, and a stop at bondtrusty kept that going, the writing here trusts the reader to follow along without endless repetition or constant reminders of what was already said earlier in the post which I appreciate.
If I had encountered this site five years ago I would have been telling everyone about it, and a look at bondedmeridian extended that retrospective enthusiasm, the version of me who used to recommend favourite blogs frequently would have made sure friends knew about this one and that earlier enthusiasm is partially returning to me here.
Really appreciate this kind of writing, no shouting and no clickbait headlines just steady useful content, and a quick look at trusteddealstore kept that going, definitely a site I will be returning to whenever I need a sensible take on similar topics in the days ahead and also during slower work weeks.
Reading this slowly and letting each paragraph land before moving on, and a stop at opalwildoutlet earned the same patient approach, content that rewards slow reading rather than speed is content with real density and the writers here are clearly producing work that benefits from the careful eye rather than the rushed scan.

My reading list is short and selective and this site is now on it, and a stop at clicktowinonline confirmed the placement, the short list of sites I read deliberately rather than encounter accidentally is something I curate carefully and adding to it is a real act of trust which this site has earned today.
Worth a quiet moment of recognition for the consistency I have noticed across multiple posts, and a stop at sentinelcapital continued that consistent quality, sites that maintain quality across many pieces rather than peaking on one viral post are sites with real editorial discipline and this one has clearly developed that discipline carefully.

Worth recognising that the post did not pretend to be the final word on the topic, and a stop at northwildtrading continued that humility, content that admits its own scope and limits is more trustworthy than content that overreaches and this site has clearly developed the editorial maturity to know what it can and cannot claim well.

The overall feel of the post was professional without being stuffy, and a look at heritagemerge kept that approachable expertise going, finding the right register for technical content is hard but this site has clearly figured out how to sound knowledgeable without slipping into that distant lecturing tone that loses readers in droves every time.
I really like the calm tone here, it does not push anything on the reader, and after I went through truepathbond I felt the same way, just steady useful content laid out without drama, which is exactly what someone trying to learn something quickly needs to find rather than aggressive marketing.

Nice and clean, that is the best way to describe the writing here, no clutter and no wasted words, and a quick visit to bondharbor kept that going, I appreciate when a site treats its readers like people who can think for themselves without needing constant hand holding through every paragraph.
Strong recommendation, anyone interested in this topic owes themselves a visit, and a stop at sunharborcollective extends that recommendation across more of the site, this is the kind of resource that makes me more optimistic about the state of the open web than I usually am these days actually for once which is genuinely refreshing.
Right, a mate put me onto true fortune casino last year and I’ve been playing fairly regularly since. Playing from the UK so the first thing I checked was payments and licensing, and no complaints there so far.
Where they don’t skimp is the games — there’s genuinely huge, reckon it’s 1,500-odd titles if not more. Loads from the big names — Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO, Play’n GO, Betsoft and Microgaming all in there. I tend to stick to Gates of Olympus, and a bit of Book of Dead when I’m bored, though the search could be better. For live casino fans, the tables run on Evolution — proper croupiers, roulette and blackjack and the game shows like Crazy Time if that’s your thing.
On the bonus side, the sign-up package was decent enough — a match on your first deposit plus a chunk of free spins. Do clock the playthrough first, mine was around 35x which is standard-ish but adds up. They run no-deposit chips now and then, so it’s worth a see what’s live at true fortune casino free if you’re chasing a freebie. You can start with a tenner, think it was a tenner, so no need to commit much to test it.
Getting money out has been honestly the real test. Payments-wise I stick to Visa and Skrill, and they take Neteller, crypto, the usual e-wallets. The money hit my wallet in about 48 hours, but card ones dragged a bit. My only real moan — they asked for ID twice before it went through.
Runs fine on mobile — there’s no dedicated app, it’s browser-based, loads quick on my phone. Support’s been alright, answered within a few minutes. Licensing checks out, which put my mind at ease. It’s not flawless, but I keep coming back so that says something.
Honest take is that this was better than I expected when I clicked through, and a look at intentionalprogress reinforced that, the bar for online content has dropped so much that finding something thoughtful and well constructed feels almost noteworthy now which says more about the average than about this site itself.
The site combines a huge game library with a clean, modern interface.
Big-money jackpots and trending games are easy to find on the homepage.
A welcome offer with matched bonus funds and free spins awaits new players in the United Kingdom.
Deposits are processed instantly so players can start playing within minutes.
