Two people have been reported dead and two others rescued alive after a two-storey building collapsed in Nomansland, Fagge Local Government Area of Kano State.
According to reports, the collapse occurred around 2 am on Thursday amid a heavy downpour.
The Public Relations Officer of the Kano State Fire Service, Saminu Abudullahi, stated that two individuals had been rescued alive and taken to hospital, while two were confirmed dead as the rescue operation continued.

It was reported that the building collapsed due to an overflow of the nearby waterway, which affected the building situated close to it.
