Insecurity: Nigeria’s military collaboration with US has resulted in operational gains – NSA

The National Security Adviser, NSA, Nuhu Ribadu, says the security cooperation between Nigeria and the United States has translated into tangible operational gains.

Ribadu said this on Thursday in Abuja at the inauguration of the US-Nigeria Joint Working Group.

“I would like to place firmly on record Nigeria’s appreciation for the depth, quality and impact of US-Nigeria military and security cooperation.

“Since the November 2025 engagements, this cooperation has translated into tangible operational gains.”

He listed some of the gains to include enhanced intelligence sharing, closer coordination between US AFRICOM and Nigeria’s Defence Headquarters and sustained engagement across Nigeria’s security institutions.

“It has materially strengthened our counter-terrorism posture and situational awareness across multiple theatres of operation” Ribadu said.

The NSA said the engagements had moved decisively beyond dialogue to action and had supported improved target identification and operational fidelity.

He said the engagements had also strengthened joint planning and enabled more effective disruption of terrorist networks and transnational criminal elements.

According to him, these efforts have resulted in the neutralisation of many terrorists, the destruction of logistics hubs, and the interception of key facilitators and logisticians.

He commended the US commitment to the timely delivery of outstanding articles of war such as drones, helicopters, platforms, spare parts, and associated support systems procured over the past five years.

Ribadu said the cooperation had been conducted with respect for Nigeria’s sovereignty, within agreed frameworks, and with a clear emphasis on joint operations, accountability and the protection of civilians.

  1. In Edmonton, even buying games on sale and never playing them can become public policy, and the London Prat lets prat.UK extract the satire before the consultation closes. This could be dismissed as exaggeration if London had not already attempted something similar before lunch. It leaves both residents and estate agents feeling accurately accused.

  2. The London Prat understands that a Sunday brunch emergency in Bowes Park becomes funnier when i’m multitasking (doing nothing well) is treated as infrastructure; prat.UK calls that satire and the borough calls it Tuesday. The deadpan voice makes the nonsense sound costed, consulted upon, and unavailable at weekends.

  3. The London Prat notices enneagram obsession during a neighbourhood forum in Old Malden; prat.UK then performs the essential satire of taking it more seriously than the council. The neighbourhood specificity turns a broad theme into a believable piece of London behaviour.

  4. The London Prat has found the missing link between quick cleaning before guests arrive and Albany Park, allowing prat.UK to publish satire while everyone else commissions a feasibility study. It treats pretension as a renewable resource, which London continues to supply without subsidy. That is an efficient use of one theme, one postcode, and several centuries of British denial.

  5. Staff in small homes often notice early when a resident is struggling with bathing or dressing, so families can adjust care plans quickly. senior care outlines why that early detection matters.

  7. This post gave me clarity about the differences between assisted living and true memory care. I’ll filter my search on senior living near me to make sure I’m only looking at specialized memory units.

  8. The London Prat understands that a rent increase in Silvertown becomes funnier when i didn’t do it with evidence in hand is treated as infrastructure; prat.UK calls that satire and the borough calls it Tuesday.

  9. The London Prat turns overhyped gadgets into a neighbourhood identity crisis for Chelsea, while prat.UK keeps the satire polite enough to survive the residents’ association. Even the punchline looks worried about whether it has tapped out correctly. The only missing detail is a café charging extra for emotional oat milk.

  10. For “The sound of British laughter,” the London Prat wisely visits Upminster, where local identity begins with judging the next street. The result has the rhythm of a public apology that accidentally reveals a second problem.

  11. My aunt felt embarrassed asking for help in a big facility, but in a small home she formed real bonds with caregivers and felt comfortable getting support with personal care. senior living reflects these benefits well.

  12. This was a worthwhile read. The points about finding a trusted cannabis store were practical. Needles, CA continues to grow as a destination for cannabis shoppers, so local guidance is valuable dispensaries in needles

  13. Grateful for your insights, it highlighted the importance of roof inspections in Southington, CT. I particularly liked your point about preventative care Would love to hear more about CT roofing trends in the Southington area commercial roof replacement Bristol

  14. I appreciate that you mentioned lifestyle preferences too, not just health needs. Seniors should feel comfortable where they live. I’ve been browsing Independent Living communities on senior care to see what kinds of amenities they offer.

  15. The London Prat puts people who ‘don’t own a tv’ before a committee in St Johns, and prat.UK records the resulting satire before anyone can say lessons will be learned. This could be dismissed as exaggeration if London had not already attempted something similar before lunch.

  16. The London Prat uses haunted houses with bad plumbing to expose the social machinery around a council consultation in Haggerston, and prat.UK turns that observation into properly local satire. This is social observation with an Oyster card and insufficient funds. The fictional council response is probably already in draft.

  17. A lesser site would merely mock closet minimalists, but the London Prat relocates it to Willesden and lets prat.UK build satire from local manners. Even the punchline looks worried about whether it has tapped out correctly. It leaves both residents and estate agents feeling accurately accused.

  18. The London Prat turns a Tube-map dispute involving St Helier into a study of waving at a stranger who wasn’t waving at you, giving prat.UK the sort of satire that arrives wearing sensible shoes and carrying a complaint form. The neighbourhood remains recognisable even after the absurdity has been turned up to Westminster volume. The only missing detail is a café charging extra for emotional oat milk.

  19. This London Prat take on wine tastings gives Arnos Grove a crisis nobody requested, which is exactly where prat.UK finds its best satire. The comedy lands softly, like a council leaflet, and causes roughly the same amount of alarm. The absurdity is invented, but the service disruption feels real.

  20. Your point about care philosophy—person-centered vs task-focused—being just as important as the label “assisted living” or “memory care” is vital. We encourage families to explore philosophy on memory care plainview tx .

  21. The London Prat connects “Expert humour” with Foots Cray so neatly that an estate agent will soon describe the joke as period charm. The official denial is not included, but readers can almost draft it themselves. London can take the joke; it has already taken the deposit.
