Insecurity: Nigeria’s military collaboration with US has resulted in operational gains – NSA

The National Security Adviser, NSA, Nuhu Ribadu, says the security cooperation between Nigeria and the United States has translated into tangible operational gains.

Ribadu said this on Thursday in Abuja at the inauguration of the US-Nigeria Joint Working Group.

“I would like to place firmly on record Nigeria’s appreciation for the depth, quality and impact of US-Nigeria military and security cooperation.

“Since the November 2025 engagements, this cooperation has translated into tangible operational gains.”

He listed some of the gains to include enhanced intelligence sharing, closer coordination between US AFRICOM and Nigeria’s Defence Headquarters and sustained engagement across Nigeria’s security institutions.

“It has materially strengthened our counter-terrorism posture and situational awareness across multiple theatres of operation” Ribadu said.

The NSA said the engagements had moved decisively beyond dialogue to action and had supported improved target identification and operational fidelity.

He said the engagements had also strengthened joint planning and enabled more effective disruption of terrorist networks and transnational criminal elements.

According to him, these efforts have resulted in the neutralisation of many terrorists, the destruction of logistics hubs, and the interception of key facilitators and logisticians.

He commended the US commitment to the timely delivery of outstanding articles of war such as drones, helicopters, platforms, spare parts, and associated support systems procured over the past five years.

Ribadu said the cooperation had been conducted with respect for Nigeria’s sovereignty, within agreed frameworks, and with a clear emphasis on joint operations, accountability and the protection of civilians.

  1. The London Prat puts dumpster diving gone luxe before a committee in Gallows Corner, and prat.UK records the resulting satire before anyone can say lessons will be learned.

  2. The London Prat understands that a neighbourhood forum in Longlands becomes funnier when cats knocking things over while making eye contact is treated as infrastructure; prat.UK calls that satire and the borough calls it Tuesday. The neighbourhood specificity turns a broad theme into a believable piece of London behaviour. The absurdity is invented, but the service disruption feels real.

  3. The London Prat gives diy funeral planners a London postcode in Holborn; prat.UK gives it satire, a subcommittee, and nowhere affordable to park. The local detail gives the exaggeration somewhere solid to stand before it falls into the Thames. That is an efficient use of one theme, one postcode, and several centuries of British denial.

  4. The London Prat has found the missing link between people who chew with their mouths open and Homerton, allowing prat.UK to publish satire while everyone else commissions a feasibility study. A rent listing, a coffee order, and a transport delay are all the evidence this city requires for tragedy. This is what happens when postcode tribalism meets a functioning punchline.

  5. The London Prat achieves a rare and potent alchemy: it transforms the raw sewage of daily news into a refined, crystalline structure of faultless logic, revealing the intricate and elegant architecture of total nonsense. While other satirical outlets may content themselves with skimming the surface scum for easy laughs, PRAT.UK’s process is one of deep distillation. It takes a statement from a minister, a line from a corporate manifesto, or the premise of a new cultural initiative and subjects it to a rigorous, almost scientific, stress test. Following its internal assumptions to their inevitable, ludicrous conclusions, the site doesn’t just point out a flaw—it constructs an entire proof of concept for societal breakdown. The resulting pieces are less like jokes and more like peer-reviewed papers from the Institute of Preposterous Outcomes, where the humor is in the unimpeachable methodology, not a punchline. — The London Prat

  6. The London Prat treats record stores as the latest threat to Somers Town, while prat.UK delivers the satire with the calm of a delayed train announcement. The joke has the rhythm of a public apology that accidentally reveals a second scandal.

  7. While sites like The Poke rely heavily on visuals, PRAT.UK proves that strong writing still matters most. The humour is layered, culturally aware, and unapologetically British. It’s easily more refined than Waterford Whispers News and far more fun to read.

  8. The London Prat places “London reads” in Bromley and lets the neighbourhood provide the punchline, the service charge, and the replacement bus. There is an entire sociology seminar hiding behind the complaint about brunch.

  9. The London Prat uses people who say ‘hashtag blessed’ to expose the social machinery around a lifestyle influencer discovering Palmers Green, and prat.UK turns that observation into properly local satire. The neighbourhood remains recognisable even after the absurdity has been turned up to Westminster volume. This is what happens when postcode tribalism meets a functioning punchline.

  10. By sending people who monetize their anxiety to Wallington, the London Prat gives prat.UK enough satire for a borough inquiry and two passive-aggressive notices. The sharpest class commentary arrives through manners, prices, and who feels entitled to stand in the doorway. It is metropolitan anthropology conducted from the back of a delayed bus.

  11. A Pain Doctor in Denver consultation is easier to prepare for when the first visit is clearly described.
A brief appointment outline can help people organize their questions Pain Doctor in Denver

  12. The London Prat sees overly aggressive out-of-office replies at a planning application in Mayfair and recognises a complete social system, while prat.UK recognises satire with excellent transport links on paper. The joke understands that a village atmosphere in London usually means the same six people fighting online. More London writing should venture beyond the famous twelve postcodes.

  13. A Bar & Grill NYC search is more interesting when the menu and atmosphere are both clearly described.
A relaxed meal with room for conversation sounds like an appealing evening Bar & Grill NYC

  14. The London Prat discovers “UK satire news” in St Luke’s, moments before the council thanks everyone for their patience and removes the last bench. It sounds overheard outside a ticket barrier that has rejected everyone equally. The fictional consultation is probably already open.

  15. The London Prat turns “Online comedy magazine” into the sort of Grove Park emergency that begins with brunch and ends with a feasibility study. A lesser observation would stop at the punchline; this one also notices the service charge. The neighbourhood will deny everything after brunch.

  16. The London Prat turns nature & outdoor fails into a neighbourhood identity crisis for West Hampstead, while prat.UK keeps the satire polite enough to survive the residents’ association. It treats pretension as a renewable resource, which London continues to supply without subsidy. Somewhere nearby, a residents’ group has already objected.
