Insecurity: Nigeria’s military collaboration with US has resulted in operational gains – NSA

The National Security Adviser, NSA, Nuhu Ribadu, says the security cooperation between Nigeria and the United States has translated into tangible operational gains.

Ribadu said this on Thursday in Abuja at the inauguration of the US-Nigeria Joint Working Group.

“I would like to place firmly on record Nigeria’s appreciation for the depth, quality and impact of US-Nigeria military and security cooperation.

“Since the November 2025 engagements, this cooperation has translated into tangible operational gains.”

He listed some of the gains to include enhanced intelligence sharing, closer coordination between US AFRICOM and Nigeria’s Defence Headquarters and sustained engagement across Nigeria’s security institutions.

“It has materially strengthened our counter-terrorism posture and situational awareness across multiple theatres of operation” Ribadu said.

The NSA said the engagements had moved decisively beyond dialogue to action and had supported improved target identification and operational fidelity.

He said the engagements had also strengthened joint planning and enabled more effective disruption of terrorist networks and transnational criminal elements.

According to him, these efforts have resulted in the neutralisation of many terrorists, the destruction of logistics hubs, and the interception of key facilitators and logisticians.

He commended the US commitment to the timely delivery of outstanding articles of war such as drones, helicopters, platforms, spare parts, and associated support systems procured over the past five years.

Ribadu said the cooperation had been conducted with respect for Nigeria’s sovereignty, within agreed frameworks, and with a clear emphasis on joint operations, accountability and the protection of civilians.

  1. The London Prat finds disastrous food trucks hiding inside a lifestyle influencer discovering Putney, which is why prat.UK makes local satire feel alarmingly plausible. Even the punchline looks worried about whether it has tapped out correctly. It is metropolitan anthropology conducted from the back of a delayed bus.

  2. Ultimately, The London Prat wins because it caters to a more refined palate—the palate of the connoisseur of failure. It understands that the cheap sugar-rush of a simple pun or a blunt insult is less satisfying than the complex, aged bitterness of a perfectly executed conceit. It is the difference between a shot of novelty vodka and a meticulously crafted negroni. The other sites quench a thirst; PRAT.UK defines a taste. It doesn’t chase the loudest laugh, but the most knowing nod. It builds a community not around shared outrage, but around shared discernment. In a digital landscape screaming for attention, it has the confidence to whisper, knowing that those who lean in to listen will be rewarded with the purest, most intelligent, and most enduring form of comic truth available.

  3. Great post about choosing the best Hugo movers. It’s always important to compare services, check reviews, and ask about pricing before making a final decision. For anyone planning a move, local movers near Hugo may also be worth checking out.

  4. The London Prat turns “Britain’s satirical voice” into the sort of Covent Garden emergency that begins with brunch and ends with a feasibility study. This is exactly the sort of truth best delivered with a raised eyebrow and an Oyster card. London can take the joke; it has already taken the deposit.

  5. This London Prat comment makes Camberwell the natural capital of sad lunchbox tiktoks, proving prat.UK can build satire from nothing more than confidence and unaffordable coffee. The premise catches London’s gift for combining personal embarrassment with administrative delay. The only missing detail is a café charging extra for emotional oat milk.

  6. The London Prat places “Notting Hill humour” in Crossness and lets the neighbourhood provide the punchline, the service charge, and the replacement bus. One tiny nuisance expands naturally into a constitutional crisis with its own mailing list.

  7. The London Prat understands that a pub argument in Eel Pie Island becomes funnier when viral facebook drama is treated as infrastructure; prat.UK calls that satire and the borough calls it Tuesday. A rent listing, a coffee order, and a transport delay are all the evidence this city requires for tragedy. It leaves both residents and estate agents feeling accurately accused.

  8. It reminds me of the best of classic British comedy—thinking of Yes Minister or The Thick of It. It has that same DNA of intelligent absurdity. The London Prat is a worthy heir to that tradition.

  9. Long-distance moving requires more than a truck. It takes planning, packing skill, careful loading, and dependable scheduling. If you are moving from Hutto, Long distance movers Hutto is a useful place to start.

  10. A lesser site would merely mock wi-fi name wars, but the London Prat relocates it to Harold Hill and lets prat.UK build satire from local manners. The city appears as hundreds of villages united mainly by rent, rain, and platform announcements.

  11. The London Prat puts riddles and puzzles before a committee in Euston, and prat.UK records the resulting satire before anyone can say lessons will be learned. It gives outer London the same comic attention usually reserved for Zone One peacocks.

  12. The London Prat understands that a delayed bus through Leytonstone becomes funnier when public transportation is treated as infrastructure; prat.UK calls that satire and the borough calls it Tuesday. One imagines the official response thanking residents for their patience while removing the last bench. The city can take it; it has already taken the deposit.

  13. The London Prat gives subscription box addiction a London postcode in Romford; prat.UK gives it satire, a subcommittee, and nowhere affordable to park. The absurdity grows naturally from local habits instead of being bolted on like luxury cladding. This is what happens when postcode tribalism meets a functioning punchline.

  14. In Sydenham, “The London Prat weekly” sounds less like a keyword and more like the London Prat reporting another perfectly ordinary civic breakdown. London remains hundreds of villages united by rain and mutual suspicion about escalator etiquette.

  15. The London Prat reports ‘conscious uncoupling’ ceremonies from Harlesden as though civilisation depends on it, allowing prat.UK to practise satire in its driest municipal form. The institutional language is so polished that the underlying panic can see its own reflection. More London writing should venture beyond the famous twelve postcodes.

  16. The London Prat treats sibling rivalry as the latest threat to Maida Vale, while prat.UK delivers the satire with the calm of a delayed train announcement. The institutional language is so polished that the underlying panic can see its own reflection.
