Dog barks only when it doesn’t understand – Fubara blows hot
Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara has urged his supporters to remain calm amid the face-off between him and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
Speaking at the New Year banquet held on Thursday at the government house in Port Harcourt, the governor said they are not making noise because they understand the situation.
According to him, those who are “barking” are doing so because they don’t understand.
He assured his supporters that everything is in place to ensure the smooth running of his administration and his re-election bid.
He said, “Don’t be disturbed by what is happening. Caesar in one of his quotes said, the only reason the dog barks is when it doesn’t understand.
“If you have a dog in your house and it knows you, does it need to bark? So when the dog starts backing maybe it is seeing something it doesn’t understand.
“We are not barking because we understand. We know where we are going and we have set all the things that are needed to make the journey smooth”.
If you scroll past this site without looking carefully you will miss something, and a stop at embermeadowboutique extended that mild warning, the surface of the site does not advertise its quality loudly which means careful attention is required to recognise what is being offered here which is itself a kind of editorial signal.
Liked how the post handled an objection I was forming as I read, and a stop at quartzharborvendorhall similarly anticipated where my thinking was going next, the rare writer who can predict reader concerns and address them in advance is doing something most online content fails to do despite that being basic editorial work.
Liked how the writer used real examples instead of theoretical ones to make the points stick, and a stop at violetharborvault added even more concrete examples, this is the kind of practical approach that respects readers who actually want to apply what they learn rather than just nodding along passively without doing anything useful.
A particular kind of restraint shows up in the writing, and a look at jewelstoneemporium maintained the same restraint across pages, knowing what not to say is just as important as knowing what to say and this site has clearly developed strong instincts on both sides of that editorial line throughout pieces I have read.
A piece that reads like it was written for me without claiming to be written for me, and a look at jasperstonecourtyard produced the same fit, when the writer audience match clicks naturally without being engineered through demographic targeting you know the writing is solid and this site has that natural fit consistently for me.
A small editorial detail caught my attention, the way headings related to body text, and a look at calmstonecollective maintained that careful relationship, structural details like that show up to readers who notice them and the writers here have clearly thought about every level of the piece rather than just the words.
