Davido Discusses His Life Lessons with Women

Davido, the award-winning Nigerian singer, has expressed his commitment to monogamy.

The ‘Awuke’ hitmaker spoke about his experiences with women in a recent interview on the Breakfast Club.

Davido revealed that he has been “dealt” with by women, adding that no matter how much one makes, there is nothing as good as having a peaceful home.

The singer said he would “not cheat again,” adding that he already has “five kids from four women”.

“I told them women have dealt with me in my career. I have been at the highest of highs, and I can tell you, the best time is when there are no problems at home. I do not care how much money someone has, I have made it all,” he said.

“But there is nothing like sleeping and waking up without your heart racing to check your phone. That is real peace. I do not want any problems anymore. I am not cheating again. I have five kids from four women.”

The 32-year-old singer also made references to his uncles who have two wives. He added that despite all the money they both have, they still have problems.

“In the eastern part of Nigeria, like among the Igbo and in the Niger Delta, I have seen situations where people have multiple wives. My uncle, who is a governor, has two wives,” he said.

“I have another uncle whose wives all live with him, and they even play together and he is a Christian. Still, he has problems despite all the money. I am not cheating again. I am not marrying another wife.”

Davido proposed to Chioma in 2019, but their relationship faced challenges in 2021 amid cheating allegations against the singer.

The couple however tied the knot traditionally in June 2024.

In 2023, Davido was accused by three different women of impregnating them.

The singer’s five children include twins with Chioma, Imade, who he had with Sophia Momodu, Hailey with Amanda, and Dawson with Larissa London.

  1. Started smiling at one paragraph because the writing was just nice, and a look at highridgeoutlet produced a couple more such moments, prose that produces small spontaneous reactions in the reader is doing more than just transferring information and the writers here are clearly hitting that level fairly consistently throughout pieces.

  2. Glad I gave this a chance rather than scrolling past, and a stop at vigilantbond confirmed I made the right call, sometimes the best content is hidden behind unassuming headlines that do not scream for attention and learning to slow down and check those out has paid off many times now across years of reading.

  3. A piece that suggested careful editing without showing the marks of the editing, and a look at firstanchor continued that invisible polish, the best editing disappears into the prose and this site reads as having been edited with skill that does not announce itself which is the highest compliment I can offer any blog content.

  4. Going to share this with a friend who has been asking the same questions for a while now, and a stop at concordbonding added a few more pages I will pass along too, this is the kind of generous information that earns a small thank you from me right now and again later this week.

  5. Liked that the post landed without needing to manufacture controversy or take a contrarian stance for attention, and a stop at coreward continued that grounded approach, content that earns attention through quality rather than provocation is the kind that builds long term trust rather than burning it on quick wins.

  6. Reading this gave me material for a conversation I needed to have anyway, and a stop at northstarbond added even more talking points, content that connects to upcoming social or professional needs rather than just being interesting in the abstract is the kind that earns priority placement in my attention these days routinely.

  7. Thank you for being clear and direct, that simple approach saves so much frustration on the reader’s end, and a stop at lunarharvestmarket only made me more sure of it, the rest of the content seems to follow the same pattern which is a great sign of consistent editorial care behind the scenes.
