BREAKING: Benue Assembly suspends ex-Speaker Dajoh over Alia impeachment plot

72,980Posted inNews, Nigeria, Politics1 minute

The Benue State House of Assembly on Tuesday suspended the immediate past Speaker, Aondona Dajoh, for three months, over alleged attempt to impeach Governor Hyacinth Alia.

Dajoh suspension followed a motion moved by the lawmaker representing Kyan State Constituency, Terna Shimawua, and seconded by James Umoru from Apa State Constituency.

Shimawua, who moved the motion during plenary, was one of those suspended by Dajoh before his resignation as Speaker last week Friday.

The Speaker, Alfred Berger, who ruled on the motion, reviewed Dajoh’s suspension from six to three months without the usual votes on such matters.

Meanwhile the Assembly on Tuesday made a u-turn and confirmed the nomination of Timothy Yangien Ornguga as commissioner.

Ornguga, a law lecturer at the Benue State University, Makurdi, was earlier rejected by the then Speaker, Dajoh.

Long time lurker here, so here is how I pick an online casino these days. After a few bad experiences I stopped trusting the big banners.

First thing is the licence: see which authority is listed in the footer, because some sites quietly block certain regions. Next come deposits and withdrawals: crypto is a plus but not a must, and there should be no weird fees on cashouts.

Bonuses are the tricky part. Read the wagering and the max bet rule, and the bonus usually expires in a week or two. A good recent review that covers all of this is here Lottoland bonus before you deposit anything.

Most of my sessions are on mobile, and if there is an app I make sure it comes from the official page. Test the live chat before depositing: if they answer in a couple of minutes that is a good sign.

Hope this helps someone. Treat it as entertainment, not income.
