APC apologizes for inviting dead Army General, Supreme Court Justice to stakeholders meeting
The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Cross River State has apologised after wrongly listing a deceased Army General and a serving Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria among stakeholders invited to a meeting with Governor Bassey Edet Otu.
The party specifically apologized to the family of late Major General Edward Ushie Unimna, whose name appeared on the invitation despite his death and burial in 2025.
It also apologised to Justice Emmanuel Akomaye Agim, Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Prof. Offiong Offiong, Prof. Francisca Bassey of the University of Cross River State and Chief Magistrate David Edogi for wrongly listing them as APC stakeholders.
The apology followed public outrage across Cross River State and on social media after the party circulated a list of invitees to its stakeholders’ meeting with the governor.
In a statement titled ‘APC Stakeholders’ Pre-Congress Meeting with the Governor of Cross River State’, dated February 15, 2026, and signed by the state Publicity Secretary, Emmanuel Edem Inyang, the party admitted the error and withdrew the affected names.
“The leadership of the APC Cross River State Chapter hereby notifies its members, stakeholders, and the general public that certain names included in the earlier list circulated in connection with the forthcoming stakeholders’ meeting were published in error and should therefore be disregarded,” the statement said.
It added: “Accordingly, the underlisted individuals are hereby formally removed from the list. The party sincerely tenders its unreserved apologies for this oversight and regrets any inconvenience this may have caused.”
Earlier, the party had invited Justice Agim and other prominent figures to the meeting scheduled for February 16, 2026, at the Calabar International Convention Centre, sparking criticism over the inclusion of judicial officers and non-partisan public officials.
The appearance of the late General Unimna’s name further deepened public concern, with many questioning the credibility and verification process behind the invitation list.
The inclusion of vice chancellors also drew scrutiny, as federal university heads often serve as Returning Officers in national elections, raising concerns about maintaining neutrality and public confidence in electoral processes.

I have been playing on Rolletto Casino for about five months now, so I have a decent feel for how things work. Came across it while comparing promo codes, mainly because I was looking for a platform with fast cashouts. The catalogue at Rolletto is bigger than I expected, though I personally stick to maybe twenty titles.
The software side is well covered: Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Play’n GO, Evolution for live tables and Big Time Gaming for Megaways. Sweet Bonanza and Gates of Olympus are in the top row, though I spend most of my time on high volatility slots. The live dealer area is Evolution, so you get Crazy Time, Lightning Roulette and all the game shows. Sportsbook is there as well, handy for match days.
The sign-up bonus here spreads across several deposits: deposit bonuses that stack up to a decent total. The rollover sits at 40x, a bit steep but manageable with the right games. Current promo codes and the latest offers can be checked on rolletto before committing money. Weekly cashback and tournament entries pop up regularly, which keeps things interesting after the first deposit.
You can start from as little as ten euros. Traditional payment methods are accepted, although the crypto options are the quickest route: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Tether and more. Payouts to the wallet arrived the same evening, bank transfers ran a few days longer. Document check took a single attempt — uploaded ID and a utility bill, cleared overnight.
On mobile I use the browser version and it works well. No app to install, which suits me fine. The chat team is available around the clock and they are more helpful than most. Regulation is Curacao based, so factor that into your decision. What matters is the money arrives when you ask for it.

Signed up with Revery Play for a few months now, so the first impression stage is well past. Found it through a comparison site, since I wanted better game variety. The catalogue at Revery Play is solid without being overwhelming, combining slots with a respectable live section.
Software comes from Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Play’n GO, Red Tiger and a few boutique studios. Sweet Bonanza and Gates of Olympus are front and centre, although the Megaways games are my go-to. The live tables run on Evolution, meaning all the major game shows and table games. English speaking dealers around the clock, though the cheap seats fill up after dinner.
The welcome bonus here comes with a deposit match and a batch of free spins. The playthrough sits at 35x, fairly standard for this market. Current offers and promo codes can be checked on revery play before you commit funds. There are weekly reload offers.
You can start from a tenner. Visa, Mastercard, PayPal and Paysafecard are accepted. PayPal payouts arrived quickly, card withdrawals took two to three working days. Verification was the standard KYC — uploaded ID and it was approved overnight.
On the phone I play through the browser and performance is smooth. There is no native app to install, which honestly suits me. The chat team replies within minutes and the agents are helpful. They hold a Curacao licence, so be aware of that going in. The main thing is withdrawals have been honoured.

Providers include Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Play’n GO, Evolution for the live side. Sweet Bonanza and Gates of Olympus are front and centre, but I gravitate toward the high volatility section. Evolution handles the live dealer area, so Lightning Roulette, Crazy Time, blackjack and baccarat. Dealers are on twenty-four seven, but low stake tables get busy in the evening.

Grob 4000 Spiele findest du, Pragmatic Play und Play’n GO dominieren klar.

Reguliert wird ueber Curacao, also keine deutsche GGL-Lizenz. Auszahlungen wurden nie verweigert.
I’ve been playing at Trino Casino for a good few months, usually on the commute home, so take this for what it’s worth. Joined because of a mate’s recommendation, and the whole thing took about two minutes — email, password, done, though you do need ID later, which I expected.
The library is genuinely big — around 3,500 games by my rough count. Pragmatic Play takes up a lot of space, so expect the obvious ones — Sweet Bonanza front and centre. Play’n Go brings Book of Dead and Reactoonz, and there’s a decent chunk of NetEnt and Microgaming in there too. I tend to live in Big Time Gaming stuff if I’ve got patience.
The bonus at Trino Casino was a 100% match to ?300 with 150 spins, spread over a few deposits. Playthrough is 35x, which is fair enough by 2026 standards. Min deposit sits at ?20. There’s a no-deposit spins offer if you sign up to emails — it rotates, so it’s worth a see the current terms over on trino casino apk if you’re keen.
Payouts are honestly the part that matters, and here Trino has been fine. Cashed out ?280 via Skrill a fortnight ago and it cleared in about six hours. Visa and Mastercard work, Skrill and Neteller are faster, plus there’s crypto for anyone who bothers. My gripe: card withdrawals were painfully slow initially.
Support is 24/7 and the agents answered properly, though getting a human can take a while during peak hours. The live section is all Evolution, so actual dealers, proper blackjack and roulette tables, plus Crazy Time for the game-show crowd — I don’t, much. There’s no dedicated app, just the mobile site, and it is fine on iPhone though sometimes logs me out mid-spin.
