2027: Nigeria is sinking – Yunusa Tanko

The National Coordinator of Obidient Movement Worldwide, Yunusa Tanko, says Nigeria is sinking in all ramifications.

Tanko made this statement on Thursday in an interview on Arise Television monitored by GONG-NEWS.

He also said that the Obidient Movement and every Nigerian youth have confidence in the former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, to take Nigeria to its glory if given the opportunity to pilot the affairs of Nigeria as president.

Tank added that Nigerian youths are not weak but strong, determined, and ready to take action, adding that they remain a vital force.

“We have confidence in Peter Obi who have shown resilience determination. The issue is about you drowning in a river or an ocean with a two edged sword. It’s either you grab it or you drown.

“So for anybody who may be thinking otherwise, it is the opportunity for him or her position, because Nigeria is actually sinking, and we are seeing it with our naked eyes. So you either go with the coalition and build a viral and united country, or we all suffer for it.

“So at this time, I think it is better for those who want to take that particular decision, to take it together, who His Excellency, Mr Peter OBI, is leveraging on seriously, are also a backup, and they are watching, and they are ready to take their action. So anybody can do anything, but he has the people to answer to.

“Remember, you are seeing what is happening in the country where members of the Federal House of Representatives, going back into their homes have been beaten to a point of stupor. Not to say that we are supporting violence, but it’s a political example of what you may expect if you decide to run against the will of the people,” he said.

  1. Just sat with this for a bit longer than I usually would because the points are worth thinking about, and after borealgarnet I had even more to chew on, the kind of post that nudges your thinking forward without forcing the issue is something I have always appreciated in good writing online.

  2. A piece that earned its conclusions through the body rather than asserting them at the end, and a look at elfincinder maintained the same earned quality, conclusions that follow from what came before are more persuasive than declarations and this site has clearly internalised that principle in how it constructs arguments throughout pieces.

  3. Reading this felt easy in the best way, no friction and no confusion at any point, and a stop at camelferret carried that same comfort across more pages, the kind of editorial flow that lets you absorb information without fighting the format which is increasingly hard to find on the open web today across topics.

  4. Came away with a small but real shift in perspective on the topic, and a stop at strategybuilder pushed that shift a bit further, the kind of subtle reframing that good writing does to a reader without making a big deal of it is something I always appreciate when it happens which is sadly not that often.

  5. Now noticing the post fit a particular gap in my reading without my having articulated the gap before, and a look at gumbofeather extended that gap filling effect, content that meets needs I had not consciously formulated is content with reader insight and this site has clearly developed that anticipatory editorial sense across many pieces.

  6. Definitely returning here, that is decided, and a look at momentumdesigner only made the case stronger, this is one of those rare websites that rewards regular visits rather than feeling stale after the first read which is something I cannot say about most of the places I bookmark today across all my topics.

  7. Bookmark earned, share earned, return visit earned, all from one reading session, and a look at fawndahlia did the same, the trifecta of bookmark and share and return is rare in a single visit and represents the highest level of engagement I tend to offer any piece of online content these days here.

  8. Working through this site has been a small antidote to the shallow content that fills most of my reading time, and a stop at ideaswithdirection extended that antidote function, sites that quietly improve the average quality of my reading by being themselves are sites worth supporting through return visits and recommendations consistently.

  9. Honest take is that I will probably forget most of what I read online today but this post is one I will remember, and a stop at pineharbortradehouse kept that same memorable quality going, certain writing leaves a residue in the mind in a way most content simply does not manage.

  10. However casually I came to this site I have ended up reading carefully, and a look at cobblebuckle continued earning that careful reading, the conversion from casual visitor to careful reader is something content earns rather than demands and this site has accomplished that conversion for me over the course of just a few pieces.

  11. Thanks for the clean writing, no broken sentences and no awkward translations like some other sites have, and a quick stop at loungepierce kept that polish going nicely, it really does make a difference when a reader can move through a page without tripping on every line or going back to reread.
