Tantita achieves more feats in fight against oil thieves

Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL), owned by Chief Government Ekpemukpolo a.k.a , has achieved another feat with the arrest of MT Habour Spirit (No. 8226272).

Mayor of Urhoboland, Eshanakpe Israel a.k.a Akpodoro noted this did not come by surprise owing to the operational sophistry of the firm.

Akpodoro spoke in a statement hailing the security firm in Abuja.

He said TSSNL was prepared for the job long before the Mele Kyari-led Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited awarded him the contract.

He said the success recorded by the security firm is testament to the fact Tompolo has capacity to secure Nigerian waters.

Akpodoro called for synergy between conventional security and private firms charged with security of oil facilities in the Western axis.

He noted since taking the war against oil theft, TSSNL has demonstrated loyalty, patriotism and commitment.

It is no news, he said, that TSSNL has saved the nation from oil thieves in its resolve to ensure petroleum product is not stolen by criminal elements who thrive on economic sabotage of the nation.

The progress by TSSNL in the creeks, the mayor noted, could be more if the Federal Government increased its contract sum and enlarge TSSNL’s operational areas.

Akpodoro seeks collaboration with TSSNL to further tighten the noose around oil thieves, noting until that is done, dealers of stolen products, including foreign collaborators,” won’t cease to make attempt on our oil wealth.

Governments of Niger Delta states, Akpodoro said should lend their weight behind the operations of the Tantita to not only encourage the firm but also to render their support to what he described as the ongoing war against sophiscated oil thieves and their local accomplices particularly those in the corridors of power.

He called on the security agencies to rally round TSNNL for more progress to be made. “Rather than envy a man on such magnitude and delicate national assignment, the nation’s security apparatus should close ranks with his firm to win the war against the enemies of the nation who are fighting hard daily to undermine the growth and development of our national good.”

The MT Habour Spirit that is reportedly anchored in Okporoza community, Akpodoro advised that such should be emptied, the content properly disposed off and the vessel be set on fire to serve as deterrent to others who may wish to wheel and deal dangerously in stolen petroleum products.

He called on NNPCL’s Kyari to consider removing all the vestiges of liabilities on the way of TSSNL by withdrawing the sub contracts of the pipeline security surveillance awarded a man he described as undeserving spent force politician who know next to nothing in the security of oil facilities without adding value to the war on oil rogues.

TSSNL he said, has proven beyond doubts to be reliable, dependable and a firm that prides itself above petty stealing this he noted is due to the persons and characters the company decided to engage and its community based operational model coupled with its superlative intelligence team whose information never fails.

The FG should as matter of urgency upwardly review the contract sum for the TSSNL to increase the number of his productive workforce in its sterling performance by taking the war to the doorstep of oil thieves.
