Gospel Singer Solomon Lange Mourns Beloved Mother

Renowned Nigerian gospel artist Solomon Lange is mourning the passing of his mother, a woman he fondly credits as the origin of his musical gift.

In an emotional tribute shared via social media, Lange wrote: “My Precious Mama has gone to Zion. My Mama, the one whose gift of singing I inherited, the one that gives native harmonies to all my songs.”

Lange revealed that just a week ago, he and his family had the honour of spending quality time with her—a memory now etched in their hearts.

“We were blessed we had the privilege of taking care of her in her old age… Now she sleeps! Her spirit is resting with Yeshua,” he added, expressing firm hope in the resurrection and eternal reign with Christ.

Fans and fellow musicians have begun pouring in their condolences, celebrating her legacy through the life and music of her son.

Burial arrangements will be announced soon, according to Lange.
