Buhari’s body arrives Nigeria

The remains of the late former President, Muhammadu Buhari, have arrived in Nigeria.

Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency expert with a focus on the Lake Chad region, confirmed the development via a post on his X handle on Monday.

Gong-news had earlier reported that Buhari passed away at the age of 82 on Sunday at the London Clinic.

Vice President, Kashim Shettima, and the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, had travelled to the United Kingdom to receive the late president’s body.

The two officials led a delegation from Nigeria to London in the early hours of Monday.
