Anthony Joshua involved in road accident in Ogun
Renowned global boxer Anthony Joshua was involved in a road accident on Monday in Makun, Ogun State.
The accident reportedly occurred along a busy stretch of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The vehicle carrying Joshua collided with another car under circumstances that are still under investigation.
Joshua sustained minor injuries, while two people died on the spot.
The accident happened just before Danco Filling Station in Makun, near the Sagamu Interchange on the Ibadan-bound axis of the road.
At the time of filing this report, efforts to reach TRACE Commandant Akinbiyi Babatunde for further updates on the crash were unsuccessful, as calls to his line did not go through.
Meanwhile, Ogun State Police Command spokesperson Oluseyi Babaseyi confirmed the incident.
