Ex-Manchester united coach Amorim

Amorim clashed with six Man United players before sack

Ruben Amorim fell out with at least Manchester United players before he was sacked on Monday morning.

According to the Daily Mirror, they are Marcus Rashford, Antony, Jadon Sancho, Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund.

Amorim leaves Old Trafford after only 14 months in charge.

It has now emerged that the 40-year-old did not get along with every player, leading to the departures of some both permanently and on loan.

Rashford scored three time in Amorim’s first two games, before the coach questioned his professionalism. He spent half of last season on loan at Aston Villa.

When Rashford returned in the summer, he ended up joining Barcelona on a one-year loan deal.

Alejandro Garnacho was also publicly criticized by Amorim, who dropped him him for the 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final.

The Argentine now plays for Chelsea after leaving last August in a deal worth £40million.

Jadon Sancho has left for Aston Villa, with Antony completing a permanent move to Real Betis after an initial loan.

Rasmus Hojlund is also on loan at Napoli, while Mainoo has had limited playing time, only starting one game against Grimsby Town in the League Cup.
